Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child one of Richard McCormick. Her parents were an aunt who worked as a housewife and a father who was a teacher. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick started dancing and singing from a young age, and often performed puppet shows in front of children in her area. After winning her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6 an old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see whether McCormick was interested in getting into the world of entertainment. McCormick got her first big job in 1964 when she starred in a commercial on television for Mattels latest doll, Baby Pattaburp. McCormick also starred in a commercial in 1964 for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was cast as the main character in Wind It Up and It Breaks, a play at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 1200 auditioning children to play the third of three head-to-head daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show ran for 5 seasons. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in 2008. She revealed in it that McCormick nearly lost her virginity on the set of the series during the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was just 16. We would've had a couple, she added. The timing, however, wasn't right.
