Jennifer Lopez

JenniferJennifer has always wanted to be a multi-tasking superstar. When she was young Jennifer was into many musical styles, mostly Afro-Caribbean music like merengue salsa and bachata. Also, she was a fan of mainstream music , like hip-hop pop, hip-hop and R&B. Although she loved music however, the movie industry intrigued her. West Side Story (1961) the musical by Rita Moreno that influenced her most as well as her main source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer as well as being an entertainer and a Catholic schoolgirl, was a student for eight years of Holy Family Catholic elementary school located in The Bronx. After a time of four years in the Bronx, she graduated from Preston High School, an all-girls prep school. Jennifer performed well in the sports department throughout her school years and played tennis and track and field. The majority of her life was spent raising her children in a two-story home located in the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer left her parents' home at the age of 18 to go out. Lopez was able to work in a law practice during this period while also taking up dancing at night.
